Rose Community Foundation is looking for a diverse group of Jewish youth, grades 9 through 12, who will make a real difference in the Denver metro Jewish community by becoming grantmakers.

We are looking for teens from Golden to Aurora to Arvada - anywhere in the metro area. We are looking for a diverse group of Jewish youth who are not involved at all Jewishly, and those who are; those who are honor students and those who are not; those who are involved in community service and those who are not; we are looking for yeshiva bochurim, athletes, computer techies and skateboarders. In other words, the only requirement is that you be Jewish and want to make a difference.

We believe that a diversity of opinion and background makes for strong decisions, and you will be making a lot of decisions if you join Rose Youth Foundation. This is a student-directed program, and together with other Jewish teens, you will have the power and the responsibility of distributing $50,000 to organizations and causes within the Jewish community that you find important.

It sounds interesting. Why should I get involved?
If I get involved, what is the commitment?
Were any teens involved in setting up Rose Youth Foundation?
I'd like to know more about foundations and how they work.
