How Do I Apply?

Fill out the application below. Applications must be received by Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. If you apply via email, you will receive a confirmation within two business days. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact Sarah Indyk at 303.398.7416. There is space available for 15 new members.

Applicants must commit to: meet two Sunday afternoons per month from November 2008 through April 2009; attend two mandatory five-hour retreats on Sunday, November 9, 2008 and Sunday, April 19, 2009; meet on one to two additional weekdays for site visits (scheduled after school or during spring break) and occasional phone calls and research outside of regular meetings. Rose Youth Foundation meetings are held at Rose Community Foundation, generally from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Rose Youth Foundation adult mentors are Lisa Farber Miller, Senior Program Officer; Sarah Indyk, Jewish Life Program Assistant; and Scott Esserman, teacher at Cherry Creek High School.

Rose Community Foundation was established in 1995 to help make the Greater Denver community a vibrant and healthy place to live. The Foundation concentrates its resources in five key program areas: Aging, Child and Family Development, Education, Health and Jewish Life. Rose Community Foundation makes grants in seven counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson. The Jewish Life program area supports efforts to create and sustain vibrant Jewish communities.
