Chief Financial and Operating Officer
As chief financial and operating officer at Rose Community Foundation, Anne Garcia manages all aspects of finance and administration. She works with the president and CEO, the Board of Trustees and Foundation committees to direct the Foundation’s growth and strategy, and to manage the Foundation’s endowment. She also advises program staff on the implementation of grant initiatives and reviews grant proposals that require financial and business expertise.
Prior to joining Rose Community Foundation in 2002, Garcia was vice president of administration at Echostar Communications Corporation, a broadcast satellite company, and served as both controller and manager of financial reporting for more than nine years with Minorco (USA), Inc./Independence Mining Company. Garcia also spent 12 years in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche, where she was senior audit manager.
With a B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois, Garcia is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado. Garcia serves on the boards of the Colorado Judicial Institute, the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, the Colorado Nonprofit Loan Fund and the Denver Policy Advisory Board of Seedco Financial Services. She is past president of the Board of Girl Scouts – Mile Hi Council and is the recipient of the Colorado Women’s Leadership Coalition Women Leaders of Excellence Award.
