Marjorie Gart
Director of Philanthropic Services

Marjorie Gart is the director of philanthropic services at Rose Community Foundation. In this role, she oversees the Foundation's work with donors.

Gart has held several positions at Rose Community Foundation, most recently as a volunteer member of the Foundation’s board of trustees from 2005-2010. Before this, she was on staff as head of donor and endowment services, and managed a three-year initiative to build $19 million in new permanent endowment funds for 19 local Jewish organizations. Gart has also worked as an independent consultant to nonprofit organizations, and held corporate finance and loan positions at financial institutions in New York City.

Gart serves on the board of the Vail Valley Foundation and is chair-elect of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s board. She is a graduate of the Leadership Denver program, a recipient of the Charlotte Tucker Young Leadership Award from Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, and was named a Woman of Distinction by Girl Scouts of Colorado. Gart earned a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

She and her husband, Tom, are the parents of three grown children and enjoy the Colorado outdoors.
