Kathryn Harris
Director of Development
Kathryn Harris is director of development at Rose Community Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for expanding the Foundation’s donor development efforts in the community.
Before joining the Foundation, Harris was executive officer of Grand County Home Builders Association. Prior to this, she served as the first executive director of the Grand Foundation, where she developed an annual giving campaign, a donor-advised fund program and initiated several annual events. She also served as manager of financial services at Accenture in Denver.
Harris’ community involvement includes serving on the East Grand School District Advisory Committee, chairing the Fraser Valley Elementary parent action committee, and providing consulting services for several nonprofit organizations in board development, event fundraising, fund development, and executive searches. She has also served as an elder of the Church of the Eternal Hills in Tabernash.
Harris graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in economics from Middlebury College. Harris and her husband Kyle relocated to Colorado from North Carolina in 2000 and are the parents of twin boys, Parker and Crosby. They spend their weekends playing in Winter Park.
