Susan Knudten
Senior Communications Officer
Susan Knudten is senior communications officer at Rose Community Foundation. In this role, she writes, edits and manages production of the Foundation’s publications, media releases and other projects. She also serves as the Foundation’s webmaster.
Knudten has been with Rose Communication Foundation since 2000. Before this, she held several positions at the University of Denver. Knudten is also a commercial and stage actor, and voiceover artist. She was cofounder and director of Denver’s Impulse Theater, where she performed improvisational comedy for more than 20 years. In addition, Knudten managed all aspects of the Theater’s marketing, human resources and accounting, and developed and led corporate and public workshops, among other duties.
Knudten currently serves as vice chair and secretary of CommA, a national affinity group of communicators for community foundations. She is also a volunteer with American Field Service, an international high-school exchange program, and Denver School of the Arts. In addition, Knudten serves on the SERA Observational Study Monitoring Board at the University of Colorado Denver. Knudten has a B.A. in German from Marquette University.
