Director of Special Projects
Sarah Indyk is the director of special projects at Rose Community Foundation. In this role, she oversees the Foundation's Innovate for Good initiative and advises and facilitates collaborative giving groups.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2007, Ms. Indyk taught kindergarten in New York City as a Teach for America Corps member and taught second grade at a charter school in Longmont, Colorado.
Ms. Indyk chairs the Program Committee for the Colorado Association of Funders, volunteers as an alumni interviewer for her alma mater, serves as a mentor for the Schusterman Philanthropic Network’s REALITY program and has served on a number of advisory boards for local nonprofits. Originally from Washington, DC, Ms. Indyk earned a B.A. from Yale in American studies. She is a member of the ROI Community and an ROI certified facilitator. She is currently enrolled in the executive M.P.A. program at University of Colorado, Denver.
