Cheryl McDonald Named Grants Manager at Rose Community Foundation

Denver, CO - Cheryl McDonald has been promoted to grants manager at Rose Community Foundation. In this capacity, she oversees the administrative and technical functions of the Foundation’s $12 million annual grantmaking program. Prior to her promotion, McDonald worked at the Foundation as a program assistant since 2004.

Before joining Rose Community Foundation, McDonald was program coordinator at Urban League of Metropolitan Denver. She is a member of Association of Black Foundation Executives, Colorado Association of Blacks in Philanthropy and the Rocky Mountain Grant Managers Network. She volunteers with parent-leadership groups and school athletics in the Cherry Creek School District, as well as several amateur youth athletic teams.

Rose Community Foundation supports efforts to improve the quality of life throughout the Greater Denver community through its endowed grantmaking programs, and by advising and assisting donors who wish to make thoughtful charitable investments to better the community.
