Institute for the Study of Israel in the Middle East, University of Denver (Denver): $2,000 to support a film series about Tel Aviv, Israel. Jewish Genealogical Society of Colorado (Erie): $10,000 for a new website and to support the Jewish Family Tree workshop series. Kabbalah Experience (Denver): $72,480 to support resource development, marketing and student relations for this education program. Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center (Denver): $45,250 to support the PJ Library, providing free Jewish children’s books to young Jewish families.
April - June 2009Hillel of Colorado (Denver): $53,100 to support staff and board activities during an executive leadership transition. Jewish Funders Network (New York, NY): $2,500 to support the activities of this national association that promotes thoughtful philanthropy among Jewish funders. Moishe House (Santa Barbara, CA): $28,250 to establish a Moishe House in Denver, providing Jews in their 20s with Jewish programs in a residential setting. Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center (Denver): $301,792 over three years to sustain and expand Shalom Baby and Shalom Family programs which welcome, educate and connect parents of young Jewish children. Rose Community Foundation (Denver): $22,800 to provide grants to Limmud Colorado participants for projects that promote new approaches to Jewish learning.
